Specifications listing with the i had a 1.3 90 as a courtesy car once and it was sound, not very noisy at all. cant really compare performance, but the 90's were renowned for massive turbo lag, which the 75 dont suffer from, but it was good no contest over the 1.2, if i had the choce id choose the diesel anytime, even over the 1.4 8v petrol, the 16v petrol is a different kettle of fish consumption even on the 90, with me
